Kindergarten Behavior Plan
We are looking forward to an exciting and productive year in Kindergarten. In order to provide each student with the proper learning environment he or she deserves, we have developed the following classroom discipline plan that will be in effect at all times.
Each class rules varies. All of us have the following:
If a student chooses to break a rule, these are the consequences:
Warning: Verbal and remove clip from “Ready to Learn
Think about it: 5 Minutes time-out from a free choice activity
Teacher’s Choice: 10 Minutes time-out from a free choice activity
Parent Contact: The child will be sent to another room with work and parents will be called.
Major Offenses may go straight to the Principal or Assistant Principal. These include but are not limited to the following:

- Be kind to others

- Hitting or physical abuse with intent to hurt
- Destroying or stealing property
- Throwing objects that could result in injury
- Defying authority
- Using disrespectful or abusive language and/or gestures
- Exhibiting continuous disruptive behavior
